Big White is only a 55 minute drive from Kelowna. There is also an airport shuttle that will take you right to the mountain.

Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding

Big White is the second largest family ski resort in British Columbia with one of Canada’s largest, modern lift systems. The mountain offers 2,765 acres of skiable terrain with impeccably groomed runs suitable for downhill skiers of all abilities. Big White receives on average over 7.5 meters (24.5 feet) of powder snow annually. Alpine ski equipment is available for rental.

Telus Terrain Park

With over 60 acres (24 hectares) of terrain and a dedicated lift, those who like adventure will certainly enjoy the excitement of Telus Park.

Snowmobile Tours

Dog Sledding Tours

Have you ever mushed? Dog sledding tours are great fun!  Canadian Sled Dogs take you on an unforgettable winter excursion. Celebrating over 10 years at Big White, Candle Creek Kennels will begin with an orientation introducing you to the dogs, the sled and the process of harnessing before heading out on the trails, giving you extra dog sledding insight.

Nordic

Big White has 25 kilometers of combined Nordic and Wilderness trails perfect for Canadian cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Big White offers all levels of cross country skiing, from beginner to advanced, creating an adventure for your skill level that you will never forget!

With 20 on-mountain restaurants, cafes, delis, pubs and nightclubs, there are many fabulous places to enjoy a wonderful meal or a cold beer! Enjoy a delicious lunch or sit for a hot toddy to warm your soul. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner with that favorite person in your life at the Black Diamond Grill. Treat the family to a wonderful meal at the Black Forest Day Lodge. Enjoy the famous wines of the BC Okanagan Valley. To start your day enjoy a nice cup of java at the Clocktower Coffee Co. There are many fabulous places to dine. If you crave a pizza visit Underground Pizza located across the road from Snowshoe Sam’s Trappers Crossing.

 

Apres Beer?

The Woods offers an outdoor patio or you can warm up inside. Reservations are required. The Bullwheel Gastro Family Pub is located in the heart of the village and offers some of the best food and views on the mountain. Snowshoe Sam’s has been voted number one ski bar by ‘Ski Canada Magazine’ and the best après ski venue in North America by the Good Skiing and Snowboarding Guide.

The Market has a full selection of groceries including fresh produce and deli items. Their bistro features fantastic Thai dishes, freshly baked goods, soups, meat pies, and pizza by the slice – perfect for a quick bite at lunch or grab-and-go dinner. The Market has comfortable seating and the best Village views, stop by with friends for a beer and tasty apres snack.
